We list official pricing, rate-limit/quota and changelog pages for each product in sources.json, and check each page's robots.txt for our user agent.
A daily monitor fetches only allowed pages, identifying as LimitWatchBot/0.1 (+https://ailimitwatch.com/methodology/), with at least 5 seconds between requests to the same host. Pages that block automated access (HTTP 403) are not fetched and we do not work around that.
Main text is extracted, normalized and stored as a dated snapshot with a SHA-256 hash. Changes produce text diffs that a human reviews.
An entry is published only when an official first-party page states the change. We record the date, before/after values as stated, a short quote, and a Wayback link when a capture on or after the change date exists.
Backfilled entries (before our monitoring began) come from official changelogs; the snapshot hash refers to our copy of that changelog page.
No speculation, no characterisations of intent. "Not stated" means the source does not say.
Corrections are appended with a date, never silently edited.
